  Ken

  Owner/ Pharmacist

  Ken has been an owner operator at Unichem Hickey's since 1986 and has been a huge supporter of the local community. Ken is a qualified Pharmacist and vaccinator. He is able to provide consultations and medications for Urinary Tract Infection, Emergency Contraceptive Pill and erectile dysfunction. Ken has a wealth of knowledge, experience and is happy to help with any health related questions you may have.

  Adrian

  Pharmacist

  Adrian has a passion for community pharmacy and going that extra mile to help his customers. He has been a qualified pharmacist since 2017 and had been working on the North Shore prior to joining us here at Hickey's. He is accredited to provide extra pharmacy services like vaccinating, Emergency Contraceptive Pill and selected oral contraceptives, Trimethoprim and smoking cessation treatments. He has always had an interest in supplements and how to safely use these with medicines.

  Jo

  Pharmacist

  Jo became a pharmacist in 2005. She was living in London for 12 years and worked as a pharmacist before returning to New Zealand. She is able to prescribe Trimethoprim, Urinary Tract Infection medication, Silvasta and is also a vaccinator. Jo enjoys travelling when she is able to do so.

  Nicole

  Pharmacist

  Nicole qualified as a pharmacist in 2009 and has worked in community pharmacy since. She has worked in Blenheim and Mission Bay prior to joining our team in 2021. Nicole is qualified to sell medication for Urinary Tract Infection, erectile dysfunction and the Emergency Contraceptive Pill. She is also a vaccinator.

  Carrie

  Dispensary Technician

  Carrie has been with us since 2014. She is a qualified Pharmacy Technician and Dispensary Manager. Carrie is the person who looks after all our compliance packaging customers and makes our sachets and blister packs. If you have any queries regarding compliance medication then Carrie is the person to see.

  Retail Manager

  Sussie lives in Coatesville, she moved to NZ in 1998 from Sweden. She has worked in pharmacy for over 20 years. Sussie joined the team here at Hickey's Pharmacy in 2018, as an Inventory Controller. Since July 2021 she has taken on the role as Retail Manager.

  Shirley

  Accounts Administrator

  Shirley joined our team in September 2020.  Her career began at BNZ and for 40 years she enjoyed being a bookkeeper for businesses and private individuals. Shirley is in the office Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm with the exception of Thursday's when she helps out in the shop.

  Raewyn

  Inventory/Pharmacy Retail Assistant

  Raewyn joined the team a few years ago. She has previously worked in pharmacy, so she already has lots of knowledge to help our customers choose the products they need. She looks forward to getting to know our customers. Raewyn is also experienced in ear piercing.

  Genevieve

  Pharmacy Retail Assistant/ Makeup Artist

  Genevieve has been with us for over 7 years and is a qualified Makeup Artist with a Diploma in Beauty Therapy. She also holds a Level 3 Certificate in Makeup and Skincare. She is our onsite Revlon expert and is available for special occasion Makeup. Genevieve is an experienced Retail Pharmacy Assistant also trained in ear piercing and passport photos.

  Retail Pharmacy Assistant

  Anna joined our team in 2021. She has gained vast knowledge in all areas of retail and health. Anna has a passion in health and is now working towards becoming a Pharmacy Technician. She currently holds a Level 3 Retail certificate. She is trained in taking passport photos.
